Our flagpoles are built for strength but do not have an official wind rating in mph. It’s very hard to predict the exact wind resistance as it depends on multiple factors, such as how many flags are flying, if they are dry or wet, and any other items on the pole adding weight. To prevent damage and extend the flagpole’s life, we recommend removing it during severe weather or high winds. Alternatively, you can fly your flags without fully extending the pole by extending each section, one at a time, starting with the smallest section, until you reach the desired height. This can help shelter your flag from high gusts.
